    TESLYN HALL

    PERCUSSION, GUITAR

I have quite a few different professional goals. One being to gain as much experience and knowledge on as many instruments as the universe will let me. I've always loved gaining experience and knowledge on many different instrument groups including, strings, brass, woodwind, and percussive instruments. Even with as much knowledge that I have, I feel like there is always room to grow. You're never going to stop learning, so why not put energy into learning about the things you love. Another professional goal I have is to get a masters in physical therapy. Growing up in martial arts programs, you learn to appreciate the work of physical therapists while also learning the practice to continue their work outside the office. With all the knowledge I've gained prior to taking college courses, I’ve been able to help many of my friends and family members. Seeing them feel a sense of relief after feeling pain for so long brings me joy. This made me realize that I could actually do well in the field. Lastly, what I hope to gain from my experience with spark. I hope to strengthen my interpersonal communication skills. My Interpersonal communication is okay, I'd love to make it even stronger through the internship. I'd love to also use the internship as a way of helping me achieve my first professional goal of gaining more musical knowledge in as many instruments as possible, starting with percussive instruments, as they are my preferred instruments. My opportunity to have an internship with Spark is a great way to connect with people through something I love. There may be times where there will be a whole conversation where very few words will be spoken. I look forward to experiencing this. Speaking through my art is something I'm very passionate about, and I'd love to connect with people who agree.
