Veterans across Oklahoma have been showing up, getting creative, and coming back for more. Now it's Glenpool's turn!
SPARK! Creative Lab is bringing our signature Connecting the Dots workshop to the Mighty VFW Post 9126, and we'd love to have you join us.
What's the deal? We use Morse code, rhythm, percussion, and mask painting to get creative, have some fun, and connect with fellow Veterans. It's designed and led by Veterans, probably different from anything you've tried before—and that's part of the fun.
Here's what we'll get up to:
Turn words and phrases into Morse code
Make some noise with rhythm and percussion
Experiment with visual patterns and mask painting
See what happens when we put it all together!
Here's something we love about art: sometimes words don't quite cut it. Turns out, there are a whole lot of other ways to express yourself. We'll show you a few.
No artistic talent required. No musical experience necessary. No clinical anything, and absolutely no pressure to do anything you don't want to do.
Just Veterans, artists, and a couple of hours to try something new together.
FREE | All Veterans Welcome
All branches. All eras. No experience necessary.
And yes, there will be food. Crayons for those who indulge.
