This two-hour, community-based workshop invites Veterans to share stories, explore creativity, and connect with fellow Veterans in a welcoming, low-pressure environment.
Led by U.S. Navy Veteran Zack Milner, participants will reflect on their experiences through guided storytelling and create a personalized mask inspired by themes of identity, service, transition, resilience, and hope.
Together, we'll:
• Explore personal stories and shared experiences - NO PRESSURE TO SHARE
• Create a painted mask that reflects an aspect of your journey
• Connect with fellow Veterans through conversation and creative expression
• Experiment with visual art in a supportive, Veteran-centered space
No artistic experience is necessary. All Veterans, from all service branches and eras, are welcome.
These workshops are free, non-clinical, and Veteran-led, and are designed as collaborative experiences rather than classes or performances. Participation is always optional, and curiosity is encouraged.
This workshop is not a clinical or therapeutic service.
Whether you come to create, connect, reflect, or simply try something new, you are welcome here.
